Huge congratulations to our 5th and 6th Year STEM committee reps who presented a “Science Live” show with Dr Niamh Shaw as part of Science Week 2022. The students worked hard over the past few months to research and script the show. Well done to all involved. If you missed the show and would like to watch it, follow this link and scroll down to Science Week, Live 3.

Students were encouraged to wear odd socks and colourful jumpers to school today. The colourful jumpers are to mark Stand up Awareness Week and the odd socks celebrate what makes us all unique to mark Anti Bullying Week. @lecheiletrust1 @Belong_To #welcome

TY students took part in the “Egg Drop Challenge“ today. They designed and constructed protective structures to keep a raw egg safe while dropping it from the balcony of the Concert Hall. Four groups were successful – well done to all who took part. It was a very ‘eggciting’ afternoon!

Our STEM committee welcomed a group of TY students from @BlackrockColl to discuss their @F1inSchoolsIRL project. A very informative and interesting event. #welcome #STEM @lecheiletrust1
