Congratulations to Prachi Agrawal (5th Year) on reaching the regional finals in the ‘Action Talks Speech Writing Competition’. Prachi is one of five students in the Leinster region to qualify. The competition, run by ActionAid Ireland and now in its ninth year, was open to all students aged 14 to 17 across Ireland. ActionAid Ireland works with women and children, as they take the lead in claiming their human rights to build a more just world.

TY students have been busy this last few weeks! Following on from our successful well-being week they engaged in a variety of activities including Felting and Yoga. They also undertook the @CPR4schools programme from @irishheart_ie and are delivering the training to younger years…an essential life skill!
Both junior and senior debate clubs were in action on Tuesday as Sion Hill hosted students from Holy Child Killiney for a mace debate. The standard was really high and lots of fun was had by all.
Today, our TY students facilitated a ‘Roundtable Leadership’ workshop for 1st years. Everyone involved learned a lot and had great fun. #witness #wisdom @lecheiletrust1
Our Annual Table Quiz will take place this Friday 20th at 8pm in the Concert Hall. This event is open to students, their families and their friends. €5 per person. Booking forms were e-mailed to all students and parents/guardians yesterday. Limited places – book early to avoid disappointment!
